Born Deaf in Najran Saudi Arabia to a hearing family. While growing up, Mohammed attended public schools. Mohammed enrolled at Gallaudet University when he was 22 years old. At Gallaudet, he learned sign language for the first time. Mohammed became fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) in just 5 years. After learning sign language for the first time, he realized that it was his natural language. Mohammed loves the beauty of sign languages. Mohammed believes it is easy to communicate and learn through Sign Language. Mohammed now knows four languages. Mohammed is confident in both the hearing and Deaf worlds. Mohammed is looking forward to completing both his BA, and MA degrees. Mohammed believes that sign language in education for Deaf children is a must.
